Welcome to the Bell Adventurer™ Program
We developed our Adventurer™ Program for paddlers like you who take extended paddling trips in their Bell canoe. The program is open to any resident of the United States or Canada who plans to take a canoe trip of 100 miles or more in 2009. Signing up is easy, and once you're accepted as a official Bell Adventurer, we'll send you a special Adventurer Kit containing a specially embroidered Bell Adventurer cap, an Adventurer T-shirt, a water bottle and coffee mug, and a pair of Adventurer dog tags. We'll also create a blog page on the Bell Canoe website for you or your group to post journal entries and photographs of your expedition.
Upon completion of your journey, we will send you an official Bell Adventurer certificate with a photograph of you or your group (you provide the lovely photo, of course) -- and a distinctive Adventurer patch, canoe sticker and super cool pin. All certified Adventurers will receive a generous discount on the purchase of a new Bell canoe from their local Bell dealer.
Of course, a few requirements and restrictions do apply:
You must paddle a Bell canoe the entire trip. Your Bell can be rented, borrowed, supplied by an outfitter or personally owned by you – but it must be a genuine Bell.
Everyone who will paddle with you in your Bell canoe must also apply and be accepted as Bell Adventurer. If you're paddling with a group, the other members don't have to qualify – only those people who will travel with you in your boat (except dogs and little kids).
You must submit a trip plan with a map (a photocopy or Google Map printout is fine) documenting that the length of your planned expedition is 100 miles or longer. 101 miles will work fine, but 100 miles is the minimum.
You agree not use your new status as a Bell Adventurer to promote any other product or commercial enterprise in any way, during or after your trip.
Finally, you must sign a legal agreement that releases us from liability should you get into trouble or suffer an unexpected accident or injury during your expedition.
Signing up is easy! Just download an application, print it out, fill it out completely, sign and date it, enclose a map of your trip, and send it to:
